Boko
Brigade
What is the Boko Brigade?
The Boko Brigade is a fun and exciting way to get involved and get up
close and personal with the coolest cat on campus: Boko! The Boko Brigade
meets with Boko and helps plan and organization support for the Texas
State mascot program. They routinuely help design and create props,
set-up fundraising events, and support Boko in his efforts to entertain
the Bobcat faithful.
I
want to donate to the mascot program and become a member of the Boko
Brigade. How can I do that?
It's
simple. All you have to do is complete the Loco
For Boko Donation Form and send it to the address found on the form
or fax it. Your donation will be processed and a donation letter will
be sent to you. All contributions will go directly to the Texas Stat
Spirit Program and Boko. All donations help to fund various elements
of the program such as appearances, updating promps and uniform upkeep.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
Persons
can also donate by:
1. Visiting the Texas State Athletics department in person and speaking
with a spirit program coordinator who will be happy to accept your donation.
2. You
can also donate to the mascot program by booking Boko for your next
birthday party or celebration. Appearances are 1 hour in length for
only $50 dollars. To request Boko or get more information on appearances
When
does the Boko Brigade meet?
The Boko Brigade usually meets as scheduled or as a need arises. For
information on the next Boko Brigade meeting contact Ervin Knight at
ek14@txstate.edu or (512) 245-6759.
How
do I become a member of the Boko Brigade?
It's easy. Just send Boko an email
with your name, phone number, address and your request to become a member.
Someone from the spirit program office will contact you and you will
be put on the Boko mailing list to start receiving information on the
Sensation of the Southland.
