Embracing Our History
Join former cheerleading Bobcats on this special weekend as we embrace
our history and make NEW memories in 2007.
We want you to
join us Friday, October 19th – Saturday, October
20th for a special cheerleading and mascot reunion as part of Homecoming 2007.
As our
honored guest you will experience Texas State all over again while
reconnecting with your friend and former Bobcats. You will receive
2 tickets for you and your guests and be invited to several hospitality
opportunities and cheerleading clinics to reacquaint yourself with
the cheers and traditions of Bobcat Country. Most importantly, you
and your teammates will return to Jim Wacker field at Bobcat Stadium
to cheer along side the 2007-2008 Texas State Cheerleaders and Boko.
It is because of contributions made by Bobcats like you that have
made Texas State Athletics and the spirit program a source of pride.
We are happy to host this event for the cheerleaders and mascots and
we hope you will join us as we embrace our history.

Cheerleading Reunion Clinic
Join your fellow alumni cheerleaders and mascots for a cheer 101 clinic
to familiarize you with current Texas State Cheers. This is the first
of two sessions that will be offered during Homecoming.
This clinic is for everyone especially those who wish to relive their
cheerleading
days on the sideline with the current Texas State Cheerleaders. Please

start.

Join the Texas State students in the East Parking Lot at Bobcat Stadium
for the biggest student tailgate in Central Texas. Enjoy live music,
food and fun with the newest generation of Bobcats. You can either
walk around and enjoy the atmosphere or contact SACA at (512) 245-2910
to reserve a tailgate location in Bobcat Alley.

pm - Bill Miller Room, Bobcat Stadium - Pre-game Reception
Join all your fellow cheerleading alumni in the Bill Miller Room (Former
Student Athlete Room) for a reception with the current Texas State
Cheerleaders.

- 3:30 pm - Alumni Tent next to EndZone Complex - Fajita
Dinner
Hosted by the Alumni Association and the Parent's Association, there
will be lots of fajitas with all the trimmings, music and fun for
all. Cash bar.

pm - Bobcat Stadium East Parking Lot - Homecoming Spirit Ralley
Featuring the band, cheerleaders, Strutters and distinguished alumni.
Show your pride as the Bobcat Crowd gathers to celebrate. Pre-game
Homecoming festivities and parade, featuring Distinguished Alumni
Award recipients.

pm - Bobcat Football vs. Stephen F. Austin
Texas State Football takes on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks at
Bobcat Stadium. Additional tickets for your extra guests are available
by telephone at
(512) 245 – 2272 or online on www.txstatebobcats.com.

Kick-Off
During the game we invite willing cheerleaders to relive their cheering
days by joining the current Texas State cheerleaders on the sideline.
Please attend at least one of the above clinics to prepare for this
special occasion. More details will be given at the clinics and everyone
must sign a release to participate.

Game - Sac-N-Pac Room - Post-Game Wrap Party
Join us after the game for a wrap party and an opportunity to hang
out with the cheerleaders, 1975-1985 Greeks, Strutters and Gaillardians
one last time. Music, snacks and cash bar.
